Company has received the Health Screening Voucher from the Social
Security Organisation (Socso) today.
The voucher for free health screening test for private sector workers
above the age of 40, was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib
Tun Razak when tabling the 2013 Budget on Sept 28, last year. The
screening is aimed at detecting non-communicable diseases like high
blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and heart disease. It would include
physical examination, full blood profile and urine test. For the women,
there will be an additional pap smear test and mammogram. The screening
would be an ongoing exercise as those reaching the age of 40, would
become eligible and be given the free vouchers for the medical test.
Human Resource Department will be distributing all the vouchers via each
department. Should you fail to received, please refer to your department
head. For those whose voucher is not available, you are required to
contact SOCSO's hotlines at 03-42521258/03-42524475/76 and 03-42525089,
or the nearest SOCSO office.
